Tender Short Rib with White Wine Sauce
Ingredients:
- 4 pounds short ribs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 onion chopped
- 1/2 cup white wine
Directions:
Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Dredge each short rib into flour and place them into the heated oil. Brown all sides of each short rib and season with salt and pepper. Add the onion and the white wine and simmer for 2-2.5 hours.
Apple Pork Spare Ribs with Sauerkraut
Ingredients:
- 4 pounds pork spare ribs
- 1 minced apple
- 1 shredded carrot
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 can sauerkraut
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Directions:
Chop the pork spare ribs into individual riblets and place them into a slow cooker. Add the apple, carrot, tomato juice, brown sugar. sauerkraut, salt and pepper to the crock pot and slow cook for 2-4 hours.
